E, a pupil at Marjorie McClure School, has muscular dystrophy and enters the pool with a hoist. She has always been very afraid of the water and insisted on using armbands.  Musical Hydrotherapy has changed her relationship with the pool into one of trust:  she no longer uses armbands in the pool or needs to be supported at all times.
